Route: Paisley Canal
Time Run: 37mins 31secs (average pace 7:31)
We saw Emma off to Bolivia last night. As I write she is flying to Miami, then after a 10 hour wait she flies on to La Paz tomorrow morning. Anyway here is a photo of us seeing her off. For some more pictures go to Emma’s blog. Laura (our other daughter is on holiday in Florida!).

I feel a lot more relaxed about my tapering this week. I’m not worrying about it and just getting the run done and it means one day closer to the race. I do think the tapering is kicking in. Last week I felt a bit sluggish but yesterday and today I’ve felt really good and I was running easy yet averaged 7.30 pace.
I have done all the things I needed to do after our support meeting. Contacted Dario with change of car details, checked the tent is okay, ordered midge nets for support team and sent mobile numbers to Donald. You don’t need to know this really but I’ve included it in case you were worried????
