My foot is feeling sore today and looks swollen. I have decided to be sensible and not to run until it stops hurting. I’m not sure how long that will be. I have booked an appointment with my doctor in case it is infected. I can’t complain really as this is the first injury I’ve had for 18 months and in that time I’ve run 3 ultras. I hope I can sort it out quickly.
The Loch Ness Marathon is just under four weeks away but to be honest my real priority is next year and the three ultra races on the whw route I’ve entered so I’m determined to sort this out and not worry about missing training runs for Loch Ness.
