Brodie Park was a lot dryer than Saturday but still a bit muddy in places. My legs were feeling the effects of last nights club session and I could feel my foot a bit when I set off. But on the softer ground of the park my foot felt okay and my legs recovered. I didn’t push too hard and spent the run thinking about what races I’d like to do next year. More details to come!
John McL rang this morning and we had a good chat about his marathon yesterday. He said that he never really felt a sub 3hr was on and was happy to run a pb. He has promised to write a report for the Kilbarchan web site so I’ll post a link when it’s done. Note to John – you’ll have to do it now!!
I have a meeting in Balloch on Thursday morning to chat with someone from West Dunbartonshire about the possibility of doing some swimming teaching so I’m planning to take my running gear and go for a run afterwards. I quite fancy doing Drymen to Balmaha and back. Ian ran Balmaha to Rowardennan and back on Friday and then Davie sent me a text to say he’d ran Tyndrum to Kingshouse on Saturday so I feel I’m missing out!!
