Evening run on the Braes

I decided to do my long run this week after work today. I had been on my feet all day as I was helping out at the Primary Youth Games at Kelvin Hall.

So I was feeling a bit tired setting out but was determined to run nice and steady and practise my Cateran Trail pace for the 3hr run. The weather was superb and I really enjoyed the run. I tried to make sure I kept my breathing under control and if I felt I was working too hard I slowed down or walked. I still ran faster than I will next week but it felt comfortable.
I ran two of my circuits and finished feeling pretty good. Here is a photo at the highest point of the run with Ben Lomond in the distance.
18.39miles in 3hrs 08mins 26secs (10.15 pace)
