Monday Fartlek session

This week’s session had 3x 5mins to start with, followed by 3x 3min, then 3x 90secs and 3x 30secs.

So I knew it would be harder to achieve my 5mile target for the 30mins especially as the 3x 5mins would be slightly uphill and against the wind! Plus the track was a bit slippy with slush.
I was feeling recovered after yesterday’s 15miler so decided to push as hard as I could right from the start.
There were only five in our group tonight including Lindsay McNeil. I worked with Lindsay a couple of years ago and so it was great to catch up. She was running really well and I was hanging on her for most of the evening.
So here are the figures ….
So I didn’t quite make the 5miles this week but it was another really good effort.
