I set up this blog (Oct 06) to record my training and thoughts in preparing for the 2007 WHW Race – a 95 mile ultra race from Milngavie to Fort William.

Here are my splits for the race compared to my 9.55 plan ….
Basically I was on target until Inversnaid (34miles) but I was finding the heat tough to deal with (as did many others). From there I decided to run (and walk) as I felt and not worry about the time.
So I’m quite happy in the end and a day later my legs feel okay and I can pick up my training for the big one in June.
