I’ve not been at the club for ages so it was good to be back for our Wednesday run. My calves were feeling the effects of Monday nights race so I was keen to take it steady. I always find it’s my claves that are sore when I’ve pushed the pace.
There were 5 of us in our group and David took us on a nice route around the country lanes through Linwood …
I was quite happy with the easier pace as my legs are still a bit sluggish. It was raining for most of the run but it was still quite warm.
So another good recovery run. My plan for the rest of the week is an another easy run Friday morning and then on Sunday I’m going to work out a 4mile loop up on the Braes and then run 4-5 loops in preparation for the Glenmore 12hr race.
