I wanted to have a rest day tomorrow before Sunday’s Inverness Half Marathon so to keep my 100% Jantastic record intact of 5 runs a week I was up and out running again at 6.45am this morning. This time a very easy 4miles … in the rain.
I’m sure there are loads of races on this weekend but there are 3 that I will be keeping an eye on …
Lots of friends are running in this one so I’ll be keen to find out how they get on. I hope everyone who is running has a great race and all the best to George Reid the Race Director. I think there are 375 signed up to run.
Katrina and I ran this last year and really enjoyed it. A few from Kilbarchan are running including Gemma and David as they build up to the Virgin London Marathon. I’m sure they’ll have a great race and enjoy the course. Just watch out for that hill at 11miles!
I’m looking forward to running this one with Katrina and our daughter Jo though we are all going at our own pace. I’ll be tweeting our times so watch out for those (the tweets also appear on this blog so those who don’t follow me on twitter won’t miss out!!).
If you are running another race this weekend or out for a long training run have a great time!
