It was pouring down tonight for our club run and there were only 4 of us on the cycle track. There were another group staying on the roads.
Even though I’m in my easy weeks I wanted to have one session a week where I can run a bit faster. I set myself the challenge of running at 75-80% rather than flat out.
The session tonight was 3 sets of 3mins (90sec recovery), 4mins (2mins) and 3mins (2mins). Tony was leading the way then John McL, Steven and I were trying to keep in touch.
I did push the final set and my HR and distances reflects that but basically I kept to my aim and felt comfortable.
