Monday Night Fartlek

I’m back into the routine of the Monday night Fartlek Sessions with Kilbarchan. This week though was the first time after running Saturday and Sunday for a while so I was interested to see how I would find it.

The session was 3 sets of 5mins (1min recovery), 3mins (90secs), 1min (1min) and 1min (2min).

There were 9  of us tonight all working hard. Here are my stats …

17fartlekI spent the evening chasing Tony and John McM.  It really helped to keep the pace up!  On the final 5min I was determined to stay ahead of John and we worked really hard for each other.

So another good solid session where I managed to run over 5miles for the 30mins of hard running.
