This morning Katrina, Steven and I set off at 7am for a 9mile run up on the Gleniffer Braes. Both Katrina and I were keen to try out our new Hokas that we bought this week. Last weekend on our Tour of Skiddaw Recce run we realised that both our Hokas were needing replaced.
Steven is back running again after his nasty fall coming off Ben Lomond a few weeks ago so he was keen to join us.
It was a lovely morning perfect for running with no wind and a good temperature. We ran my 9 mile loop over the Braes and we all enjoyed it. It was a bit muddy in places so my shinny white Hokas are not quite so white.
We had time for a photo at Robertson’s Car Park.
It was good to see that Steven’s head wound is healing nicely. The scar will certainly give him plenty of questions in years to come …
I was home in time for a shower before heading off for my swimming lessons. Soon we are off to John Duncan’s house for a Fling bbq which we are looking forward to.
