Bank Holiday Run

I decided on Sunday to do one more longish run before the Cateran race as I was free on Monday. I fancied the large loop around Ben Lomond that Marco and Matt have taken me on. To make it a bit different I decided to go the other way round.

This had the advantage of getting the tougher ground bit out of the way early on in the run instead of near the end.

It was a beautiful day as I set off just before 10am. There were lots of people climbing Ben Lomond but once I turned off the tourist track the only people I saw until I came back to the West Highland Way path was 1 cyclist and 1 car.

As I was on my own I decided to do some video clips of my run. This means that you run a bit further as you have to keep going back for the camera!

Hopefully it will give you a feel of the run (it lasts 2mins 22secs) ….
