The Hardmoors 55 will be my 35th ultra and for each one I have had a fun ‘Guess My Time’ competition.
This year www.ultramarathonrunningstore.com are going to sponsor the competition again and there are some exciting prizes on offer.
For my first ultra of the year the person with the closest guess will win a pair of Hoka Challenger ATR 2 shoes (though I’m sure they will be happy to give you a different shoe to the same value).
All you have to do to win the prize is to guess how long in hours, minutes and seconds how long it will take me to run the Hardmoors 55 mile race which starts at 9am on Saturday 19th March 2016.
To give you an idea I have run this race 3 times ….
Unless something surprising happens I don’t think I’m going to be able to maintain my run of pb’s. The Hardmoors 160 race is only 6 weeks after this one and I’m planning a big back to back weekend two weeks after the Hardmoors 55 so unusually for me I’m planning to use this race as a build up to the HM 160 and so I’m not planning to ‘race’ it!
My goals for the race are ….
- Bronze goal – sub 11hrs 30mins
- Silver goal – sub 11hrs
- Gold goal – sub 10hrs 30mins
Not only will the person with the closest guess receive the Hoka’s from ultramarathonrunning store but also a limited edition key ring and their name on my Hall of Fame!!!!! ….
If you want to enter please send your guess by 6pm on Thursday 17th March by …
- a comment on my blog
- on Facebook – jkynaston
- Twitter – @jkynaston
- Text – 07905 218162
- in person
- any other valid method!!
Please note that there can only be one time time per person so if you guess a time that ois already taken I’ll ask you to adjust!
Thanks
